Extraordinary shareholders meetings

Art 52. In accordance with Art 19 of the regulations of the Bank of China the usual shareholders meeting shall br called by the Governor of the Bank and held once every year at the place where the Head Office of the Bank 18 situated.

Art 53. In accordance with Arts 20 and 21 of the Regulations of the Bank of China extraordinary shareholders meetings shall be called by the Governor of the Rank if he should deem it necessary to discuss the questions that have arisen, or by the request of the entire Board of Directors or the entire Board of Supervision or fifty

or more of the shareholders possessing shares to the aggre-

gate value of not less than ten per cent of the capital of the Bank,

Art 54. Shareholders entitled to attend the shareholders meeting should present the share scrips before the day fixed for the meeting at the Bank of China or its branches and apply for certificates of attendance, which should be presented a few days before the day of meeting at the Bank of Ching for amittance tickets, the proposed agenda and annual report.

Art 55. If a shareholder be unable to attend the shareholders meeting he may in accordance with the pro- visions of Art 24 of the Regulations of the Bank of China, depute one of the members of the meeting as his proxy, but no proxy shall be allowed to cast more than ten votes on behalf of the person for whom he is a proxy.
